Would’ve liked to see Lies of P or Hi-Fi Rush take Mario Wonder’s spot but oh well, they’re both in other categories.

I feel like Baldur’s Gate definitely deserves it, hands down, no contest. Unfortunately I think Tears of the Kingdom will win simply because more people probably played it who never played, or would even consider playing, Baldur’s Gate because it’s not a “mainstream” big-name-company AAA release.
Totk was pretty mediocre, it’s only there because of bias
Sequel, sequel, sequel, remake, sequel, sequel.
Props to Bethesda for releasing an original IP, but unfortunately the game sucked
