    USA and Mexico being in Pot 1 over Uruguay gives the potential for a super hard group (if Uruguay ends up with Brazil or Argentina) and an open one (Mexico, Peru, Paraguay, Canada for example).

    Peru is not Pot 2 material either by the way, right now they are weaker than the 3 CONMEBOL teams in Pot 3.

    The tournament draw will definitely be interesting!

    This graphic is wrong. Uruguay Colombia Ecuador and Peru are in Pot B not C. Chile, Venezuela, Panama and Paraguay in Pot C.

    I’m really hoping Canada can make it. I think it could be great to hopefully get more eyes on Canadian soccer if we have the chance to play countries like Brazil or Argentina

      These aren’t groups. These are the pots to determine the groups. US won’t play anyone in pot 1 in the groups

    As other users have pointed out, the graphic is incorrect, mixing up “Pot B” and “Pot C”. Here is the correct allotment:

    Pot 1

    * Argentina
    * Brazil
    * United States
    * Mexico

    Pot 2

    * Uruguay
    * Colombia
    * Peru
    * Ecuador

    Pot 3

    * Chile
    * Venezuela
    * Panama
    * Paraguay

    Pot 4

    * Jamaica
    * Bolivia
    * Honduras/Costa Rica
    * Canada/Trinidad and Tobago

    The final two spots will be decided during the March 2024 international break, at a neutral site in Frisco, Texas.
