          I am not taking a side. I am just saying that while Hamas randomly captured innocent civilians, people released from Hamas’ side were accused of variety of offenses including throwing stones and even a murder attempt. That’s quite a difference.

          So were they hostages when they were imprisoned with no intention of using them as bargaining chips, or did they become hostages when Hamas asked for their release as part of the exchange?

          Like the Israeli babies and children who were kidnapped after their family / neighbours were butchered, like Aisha Alziadna.
          And then offered as bargaining chips for prisoners like Israa Jaabis, who was convicted of detonating a gas cylinder in her car and wounding a man.

            Convicted by a jury of their peers right… Right? Israeli wouldn’t judge people they abduct from a sovereign nation by military tribunal would they?

            Fun fact, they do.
