Dont understand why this isn’t required for all departments. Beside the protection of the officers and civilians but provides learning and understanding with edge cases.
It’s been an anticipated move for a few years, i think i heard of this plan on 2018 or something, now it’s 2024 and it’s still “soon”, so i’d give them time to outfit the one that’s more prone to corruption.
Great to see this start spreading internationally. Any legitimate cop SUPPORTS body cameras as it means situations are no longer “he said she said” and are simply factually based.
Yeah, legitimate cop will not want some pigs to ruin their reputation, this should be an easy yes for them.
