Arizona Republicans want to make changes to the state’s existing “Castle Doctrine” law that would let ranchers in southern Arizona legally shoot and kill undocumented immigrants who cross their land.

Two thoughts; this is going to be largely unused as I bet most border residents on both sides would much rather get along with each other than resort to shooting each other over sleights like walking over some ranchers largely empty land and; wait till you hear about one of these ranchers killing the wrong smuggler or migrant who might have deep ties to a cartel. Americans aren’t untouchable just because they’re behind a wall.
