- “Attacking libraries” how tho? Are they saying bad things about libraries, do they run up to the buildings with sticks or what?
- What do homeless people have to do with it? It’s framed like that’s the reason for the “attacks”, as if anarchists don’t like homeless people
- Libraries do the exact opposite of gatekeeping, that hold the gate to knowledge open to anyone who wants it, I don’t think anyone ever actually said that

And I’ve never heard an anarchist disparage libraries. In fact, libraries align with many anarchist principles.
Library Socialism is wholly compatible with most forms of Anarchism.

I haven’t heard of this. Usually it’s just the far-right who attacks us.
Not to mention, they’re attributing this to “anarchists on Twitter,” which OP jumps on. Like…all of them? Or did one person with lefty beliefs say something? Because…I’m an anarchist. Libraries are tip top. No anarchist I’ve ever met has one single iota of a problem with libraries.
I self-describe as an anarcho-communist, but library socialism (or anarcho-librarianism) is an acceptable step in the right direction.
