Will our own elites perform any better than the rulers of Chaco Canyon, the Mayan heartland, and Viking Greenland?

This is the kind of alarmist media that cripples people with anxiety and leads to learned helplessness. We want to be giving people hope for change, not taking it away.

Good to one that a) you didn’t read it and b) you don’t know what “clickbait” is. Rarely is “clickbait” long form, jsyk.

        lmao what?

Clickbait is a headline or thumbnail link that is designed to attract attention and entice users to click on a link. Clickbait is often deceptive, sensationalized, or misleading. It can include exaggerated claims or leaving out key information.

What you have posted is the literal definition of clickbait.

So what “exaggerated claim” did it make or “key information” was left out? Because the article goes into great detail on the subject - civilization collapse - that it brings up.

Actually, never mind. You have a lovely day.

Civilization is not mid-collapse. That is sensationalistic. It is meant to drive clicks.

            It is clickbait.
