The former Trump campaign attorney is scheduled to go on trial Oct. 23.

A judge on Thursday denied a request from former Trump campaign attorney Sidney Powell to have the Georgia election interference case against her dismissed over allegations of prosecutorial misconduct.

The ruling, following a hearing in Fulton County, comes just weeks before Powell is scheduled to go to trial alongside Kenneth Chesebro, after the pair both requested speedy trials in the case.

Just because I know how much the media loves to hype up these motions: motion for dismissal is super common and is done in every other case.

Don’t make this out as “she is out of line, how could you even ask that”. It’s procedural, and it’s nothing special at all.

You’re not wrong that motions to dismiss are common and routine, but this is a little different.

“Purely on procedural grounds, I don’t believe that this motion to dismiss for misconduct … has cleared the procedural bar as being under the court’s authority,” Judge Scott McAfee said.

That’s legalese for “What the fuck did you just ask me?”

It’s not so fun when the Kraken is looking at you… Is it Sydney?

Seriously though, this woman just screams sociopath, given her behavior and actions over the last several years. The fact that she managed to not get disbarred is a grave injustice.

Can someone tell me, if convicted, will she lose her ability to practice law? Or is that too much to ask?

Stop insulting people’s looks just cause they’ve done something bad.

What if a great person who happens to look like her sees your comment?

Stick to criticizing the shit she has done.

Part of a person’s looks are dependent on their attitude and how they carry themselves, no great person could possible look like her

I mean, it IS true in that someone who carries hate often has ugly scowls on their face which leave them with more wrinkles and dour appearance. Just look at Steven Miller. Regardless of his balding, his hate makes him look like a little gremlin version of Zucky fuck.
