    If this was the NBA, he’d be traded elsewhere by tomorrow after saying that. All jokes aside, happy for him. He comes across well, works hard and knows his role. He’d be loved by fans anywhere he played.

    I love when people acknowledge their skill level and accept a different role in their team. Jordan Henderson should learn a thing or two from elneny

      I mean slightly different considering Henderson was captain for about 8 years

        Klopp would not have stripped him from captaincy if he had stayed. He just proposed him a squad role but instead of staying, he bitched and went to Saudi league for ‘more gametime’

    Elneny deservers everything good. He was a solid solid player when he was on loan at Besiktas and i couldnt believe, why he was made funof at arsenal before that. Of course he is no Kante or Modric, but he is solid and does his job. Loves the club and gives everythign he has. You need guys like that on the team and for depth.
