If you replace money with literally any other object, cats, newspapers, canned food, youd say these folks had a hoarding disorder. Hoarding money like this is a massive red flag for deep mental illness. Add in these behaviors and what you have are deeply mentally disturbed humans with comorbid addiction problems.
I think your analogy is missing how much power money buys. Musk is hoarding power, the money is the easiest way to get power especially if you’re born rich.
