We really have no good reason to believe that anybody has ‘deradicalized’ Azov, which should have been burnt to the ground years ago. Some of them might denounce Adolf Schicklgruber if somebody prompted them to, but it’s extremely unlikely that they’d denounce an Axis collaborator like Stepan Bandera, who’s a national hero in Ukraine.

Considering the losses that the Ukrainian state is suffering right now, clearing neofascists and war criminals out of its forces has to be the least of their priorities. Personally, I suspect that the neofascist presence has only gotten worse.

    There’s more.

Besides the cross in the username, popular among the nazis, they say that he was in “neosoviet captivity” (неорадянському полонi) 🤡

Tweet translation: Oleg Mudrak died yesterday evening in Kyiv. Oleg was the commander of the 1st battalion of the <<Azov>> regiment, he was a true hero of our family. He spent 6 months in neo-Soviet captivity and the consequences of this caught up with him. We will not forgive and we will not forget! To be a warrior means to live forever
