Oh they’ll need it for disability purposes eventually, and they’ll lobby for it. And because they spent their active years voting against public transit, all they’ll get is some rinky-dink shuttle service.

Yet 99% of them should be nowhere near an automobile because they are technically to old to be fucking driving.

    “Losing my parking”

It’s not your parking. You don’t pay for it. You want parking, build your own damn parking.

    Edit: losing parking, not loosing…

You shouldn’t be downvoted for this.

Busses are a great way to introduce some public transport on the cheap: All you really need is - well - the vehicles, enough road capacity to run them and some signs to indicate where the stop is. And you can easily tweak the network to try and optimize it as you learn more about the needs of the travelers.

I agree with the boomers, we shouldn’t be building Rapid Bus Service, in Lake Forest Park. We should be de-populating and relocating every one of the “white-flight” suburbanites that currently live there to green communities within Seattle proper.

Brief stretches without bus lanes would be a non-issue if drivers would yield to busses like they are supposed to.
