Adding tasks that I’ve done, that weren’t on the original list, just so I can cross them off.
Ha! Yep
I do this too! I’m gonna get my frakkin gold star for refilling the dog’s water thing.
Feels very good to know I’m not the only one.

Oops
Add something just done to the list then tick it off.
Ooh that was me today but I only did half of the task.
Still counts!
Feels good man.
*Remembers to cross something off their to-do list.
I add super easy things together with more boring things then I see that not all things are checked so I slowly do them all over a week or so. It takes time but it gets done
Ahh the technique of feeling productive while never actually getting to the important tasks.
I has helped me clean my appartment on area at a time. i still have more to clean but its getting better.
Good work! That is going to feel so great when each little bit is done. Wipe off the coffee table, straighten a book.
It does. I also managed to throw away a bunch of garbage that I never used
I’m washing dishes. PLATINUM ELITE STATUS.
Do I have adhd or are these things most people experience?
@pineapplelover Basically it comes down to how much it’s effecting your every day life. If it’s stopping you from doing normal hygenic things or getting in the way of your work to where you’re getting disciplined at work or even fired, then it might be time to get checked out for ADHD.
You might get loads of “advice” online if you reach out because ADHD folks LOVE to explain things, but most of us are not doctors. You should see a doctor if you have any suspicions that you do things like this more often than not.
