  • @pineapplelover Basically it comes down to how much it’s effecting your every day life. If it’s stopping you from doing normal hygenic things or getting in the way of your work to where you’re getting disciplined at work or even fired, then it might be time to get checked out for ADHD.

    You might get loads of “advice” online if you reach out because ADHD folks LOVE to explain things, but most of us are not doctors. You should see a doctor if you have any suspicions that you do things like this more often than not.

  • @Leg @Stamets @adhd I’d say it’s always okay to get a second or third opinion. Brains aren’t fully understood and one doctors opinion might be on the stricter side of the testing while others will agree you check off enough of the boxes to qualify for a diagnosis.

    It’s not exactly as easy as looking at a scan and noticing something clearly wrong.🤷‍♂️

    Of course this is just another opinion and I am not a doctor so take it with a grain of salt. Though I went to 2 different doctors and the second disagreed with the first when I was diagnosed.
