How all things changed - I can’t even process

Letters blur out - and I can’t make sense of them

It’s like an invisible iceberg that appeared from the dark

It’s like a whirlwind that goes to the very bottom.

.

It’s easy to believe to the scream of far sirens,

To surrender, to accept the inescapable, to lay, to sleep,

To ignore the morbid reality, that completely lost it’s course,

And this endlessly growing fatal wave that blocks the stars

.

Please, just float,

Don’t even stop

Stay visible to radars

In the light of my flares

,

Please, you need to survive,

After the shipwreck

To reach this thin and narrow

Piece of a safer land

.

When you’d deplete all the powers you have,

You’d find the second breath to keep you going.

When you’d feel it’s too cold and painful to go,

These waves would go to sides, to open the light.

.

Please, just float,

Don’t even stop

Stay visible to radars

In the light of my flares

.

Please, you need to survive,

After the shipwreck

To reach this thin and narrow

Piece of a safer land

.

My life’s still going, and behind the dark window,

Over an old, tired land, I see stars start to shine,

On the bottom of a barren sea many ships fall asleep,

But still a feeble signal breaks through a radio noise.

.

Please, just float,

Don’t even stop

Don’t let yourself be fooled

By a strangling tsunami of dark

.

Your name is in the list of survivors,

And here it comes first.

The shore is closer than it appears,

And you are stronger than you think.
