Hit the gym brotha. I’ve started experiencing back pains, but after going to the gym (weekly 2) + moving a bit more, the pain suddenly vanished. t. 23 year old

Without even going to the gym, simple mobility exercises can work wonders ! A lot of them you can do in bed or on a chair.

Exercise is the only thing that has ever sorted out any back issues I’ve had in my life. It’s all about strengthening your muscles to keep supporting your body properly. If your muscles are weak, your posture suffers, and pain comes with it.

I mean, getting in shape has made my knees feel better. And when I talk with the grey beards they corroborate. If the pain is muscular fix your muscles

As far as I can tell crappy mattresses and deciding to sleep on the floor instead, the springs don’t poke you when you sleep on the floor. There was probably other things like not being a very athletic child that worsened it. I distinctly remember in school staying in the class room sitting in a chair rather than going for break because my back hurt too much. Moving a cupboard while my Dad dragged me up the stairs really fucked it… Then my Mum giving me whip lash at the go kart track 3 years ago.

I can see how my comment makes it out that it was the gym causing back pain rather than the gym and lifting heavy things later in life helping my back not hurt every day.

            Buy good mattresses people!

It wasn’t really intense pain, but a slight but definitely noticeable inconvenience. The cause is probably from the copious amounts of sitting (office and also at home, because winter eeeh) and seriously low steps / day (1000-2000) daily.

Also maybe I shouldn’t sit on a crappy “gaming” chair at home. Premium chairs are hella expensive tho :((
