Yeah, bad economic news leads people to wanting change, regardless if its rationality. If the economy and inflation turn around, things could change dramatically. Small things love rebranding the Carbon Rebate might help a lot, too. Petite will hopefully be a lot less accepting of PP’s plan to remove Carbon Pricing when they lose out on hundreds of dollars every quarter and the world burns in the summer.
The US Election might scare people away from conservatism a bit, too, depending how their descent into fascism goes… one can only hope.
