– Since US has already supplied Ukraine with cluster munitions (which are multiple times ‘effective’ than regular shells according to ‘experts’) how are they faring in the actual battles and what are the responses from Russia in the battlefield?
– Wagner has been moved to Belarus for sometime now. Any news and updates on what are they up to? What’s the game plan here? I’ve watched a video recently where they (most probably) are stripping off their Russian passport and flags etc. [Source of that video]
– The Ukrainians are more openly terror attacking on Russian infrastructure deep inside Russia. (Recent attacks on Moscow) How do you see Russia responding to such escalations?
– Finally What do you see as the Russian endgame for the SMO in Ukraine? Any clue on how long it’s going to go like that?
You don’t need to answer all of the questions (in any manner). Just share your thoughts.
I’m just some guy, not any kind of military expert, and I get my news from all over the place so please don’t treat any of what I’m saying as anything other than some guy on the internet talking shit.
For your first question, the cluster munitions seem to be allowing Ukraine to continue its counteroffensive because it and the west as a whole has largely run out of regular artillery ammunition. There was a video a while back where Biden answered a reporter’s question about why the us was sending cluster bombs, and biden just said point blank ‘we’ve run out of ammunition’. So as far as I can tell it’s not any kind of game changing weapon, but it does allow Ukraine to continue attacking the Russian defensive lines. From what I can tell, and I try to stay at least moderately up to date with what’s happening in the actual war itself, Ukraine’s counteroffensive has so far been a total failure. They’ve captured a negligible amount of territory and suffered heavy losses of both human beings and military equipment.
For your second question about the Wagners, I’ve no idea about the passport stuff but my best guesses as to what they’re doing in Belarus are as follows: They’re there as a potential counterweight to any polish or other non-Ukrainian Nato forces that might enter the battlefield; They’re there to threaten Ukrainian forces with the possibility that another front might be opened in the war from the north; They’re there to actually open another front in the war from the north; all of the above.
For your third question, I expect Russia to just keep doing what they’ve been doing.
And for your final question, my best guess is that this is going to continue for several years
Your analysis really makes sense after doing some research on my own. Btw which news sources do you recommend to keep myself up-to-date? Beside that would love to read some good analysis sources too. Thank you again for the write up

What’s interesting is that western, anti-Russian press isn’t necessarily lying about the war. They’re just hiding the truth behind a narrative and sometimes behind a headline. It’s possible to piece together the factual details and ignore the narrative, as it seems as you have done. I’ve also come to similar conclusions as you have.

For updates, check Intel Slava Z.
This attacks on Moscow are just to generate some sensationalist headlines on the west to make the public opinion continue pro-war, make it seen that Ukraine this time managed to shift the game and the war is inside russia territory, e.g the attack on Belgorod by a squad of ethic russians, the headlines were like “Russians are revolting against Putin’s regime”.
Wagner on Belarus, as the other guy just said, in case Poland decides to join.
The “ethnic Russians” in Belgorod were 100% Nazi BTW. I’m sure you know that already, but I bring it up every single time that whole situation is mentioned.
didn’t knew they were bonafide nazis, i knew they were trained on ukraine and was ordered by then, well… my bad for not connecting the two dots 😅.
my point was that they were carefully chosen to make it seen that the russian people is revolting and taking up arms against russian government and generate factoids and keep the war hype on the west
