the minimum I am allowed to set is 32. I used to use something along the lines of 22 on the previous verison. this 32 is quite unusable for me at an 15 inch 1440p monitor. Is there a work around, or some config file that I can edit t fix this. If not I would like to heavily request this feature
What???
Hopefully this is just a bug. Otherwise that is a clear downgrade for me, damn… I don’t want to go back to thick bars.
I am sure that it’s a bug because they have changed the default to floating panels this release. And Floating panels have 32 minimum limit normally but in KDE 6 all the panels have that. Probably the non floating panels weren’t tested enough and the changes to the floating ones affected them too? I just hope that this gets fixed soon enough
I hope you’ll report the problem, so it can be fixed.
Reporting bugs is the way to go. They help us make better software for everybody. Thanks!
You should use the BugZilla to report bugs, not GitLab. https://bugs.kde.org/
Edited. Thanks.
I didn’t want to go trough creating and account and all but actually tried juat now. and hell no the site is a fucking mess there is no way to report a bug about panels
- https://bugs.kde.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=plasmashell
- log in
- choose Panel in the “component” list
- choose the version of Plasma you’re using
- write up the bug following the boiler plate in the text field
