The wildlife water dried up and blew down while I was asleep. It’s the lightweight material, flat wide aerodynamic shape and the placement. I put it there for a reason, and chose a shallow dish so animals/insects don’t drown, but inconvenient. I put it back, peeled the huge block of ice out of the silicone bowl/jelly mould to weigh it down and filled it the rest of the way with water from the tap.
The ice should keep the platter held down for a while, keep everything cool, and slowly refill the water as it melts.
