I’m not going to name the account because I’m sure lots of people have already seen it. Their content and spam have been filling up Lemmy posts since yesterday and it’s still happening.

At first I was upset about the user and the account … now my attention is being drawn to Lemmy moderators and owners who are just allowing this to continue.

    I know they are trying to address it. I won’t pretend to know the details of their efforts but it certainly points to a need for some changes in how these things are caught and managed.

    Most services have a limit to how much can be posted in a given time to prevent this type of thing. I’m frankly shocked that Lemmy does not have this kind of feature.
