        agree, you rarely need 8 towels on even an extended trip and you don’t need a plastic holder for them.

        2 light microfiber towels (one for dirty washing one for clean washing) stuff down very smol.

        I used these things in my edc kit. It’s not about the weight, it’s about the space, and they’re really only ever used in emergencies. I wouldn’t say they’re a good product though.

      Needlessly using disposable stuff for hiking is like driving a coal-rolling Diesel truck into the mountains to enjoy the pristine nature.
