The new cordless 2-in-1 stick vac actually is fairly quiet on the low setting.
There are a few drawbacks. Like it’s not that powerful on the low setting so might take a few passes (and lifting it a bit) for bigger particles like tracked paper litter, the canister fills up fairly quickly with cat hair, and the filter might be harder to clean + no replacement filters on sale because Kmart. No upholstery attachment, only one crevice tool with brush.
But it’s a lot easier to use, folds down small, the handheld pops out easily and the sound is not too bothersome to Melbcat. Alright for quick cleans.
Yeah, the screaming one with the cord and the broken remove-handle button works better - but only gets used once in a while, during the day, and in a different room to the cat

I have found the vacuum cleaner that is quick and easy to use is the one that keeps carpets cleaner.
