The Earth will actually be unenhabitably hot way before then
As the sun gets older it will get brighter. Ironically this will draw all the CO2 out of the air but at the same time make the Earth too hot to survive on

Might even get uninhabitably hot in some of our life times.

Don’t worry, I’m sure we can come up with a way to explode the sun much sooner than that.
Just fire off all the billionaires into the sun.

There is nothing we can do yet, 5 billion years is a long time and this can go on of 2 ways, either we die due to a mass examination event by then or our since evolve so much that we can actually create suns by that point!
Well I don’t think making a sun stops the current one from exploding or whatever and swallowing the planet so I don’t think making one solves the problem
