I don’t wanna pick one that isn’t good and potentially have it affect my cat.

    I’ve been in vet med for 8 years. The only glucometer that I’ve ever seen in any hospital (private practice, corporate, and academic) is AlphaTrack. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that it’s been the glucometer of choice across everywhere I’ve worked and gone to school.

    To be clear, I’ve actually literally never even seen or used another brand of glucometer.

      So I should get the alpha track 3? I saw some of the negative reviews on Amazon and got scared off. Because this is health related I don’t wanna mess around

    I’ve been diabetic for 20 years, glucometers don’t really vary in accuracy enough to matter. Look for one that has the features that make your life easier, apps, reminders, history, etc…
