That’s a lot of money for a short nostalgia dopamine hit.
Cheaper then an old one. Retro gamers will be all over this
Kinda, yeah. I mean I don’t really identify myself as a “retro gamer” but I’ve got an Atari with a bunch of games and a newfangled TV. Every once and again I think it’d be fun to hook it up, but there’s no easy way to get it working without buying some doohickey. In this case if the doohickey is the machine, and it can use the OG controllers & games, that’s certainly appealing. Maybe a steep price for it, but definitely appealing.
I got the sega Genesis mini 2 and was highly disappointed in it. There are like 3 games i play other than the Sonic titles. Many of them i never heard of before owning this. And there are not that many titles in general. I really wanted Mortal Kombat and Altered Beast, both missing.
Curious if they use real hardware or emulation (read carts as Roms).
The processor listed in the specs, Rockchip 3128 SOC, is a smart tv chip.
Emulation then.
It can use the original carts. My Atari and intellivision consoles still work, though.
Same here. Never modded mine though, still uhf lol
Shit I still have the original mechanical switch and TV it’s connected to.
Tv has updated (although i do still have a crt for missile command and scope on the ol’ snes) but yup, the punch-button switch with the wood and metal chassis is my baby!
Anyone able to get the list of compatible games?
