Huh, figured it’d be poisoning or car crash.
I had my bets on the window
Or accidentally repeatedly falling down stairs, or suicide by a double tap to the back of the head.
I wonder who the other passengers were. Probably the kind of people who would possibly keep Wagner resistance up or have too much influence and are considered a liability in a takeover.
Or maybe Prigozhins family to strike fear into Wagner troops about their family if they don’t cooperate.
Or, since there were reports that Wagner troops are scrambling Prigozhin didn’t join the flight as a ruse.
Well the last one might be a reach and entering bullshit conspiracy theories but in general I’d like to know who was on that plane.Dmitry Utkin was likely on the plane, so that’s one more dead Nazi, He was also the founder and co-leader of Wagner.
I think it’s been more or less confirmed that he was.
Ok that makes sense.
Still, there was no need to shoot down the plane. Maybe as a visual revenge for the Russian plane Wagner shot down. Definitely some people died who didn’t need to die so this is a barbaric act with no regard for human life.It was a private plane used by Wagner, there were likely no innocent people on board, just Nazis, War Criminals, and such, and those who were aids to Nazis and War Criminals.
Yeah, there’s not really a lot of stuff Putin and I agree on, but shooting this plane down was probably a good thing, all things considered.
The only thing that would have made this better is if the plane had landed on Putin. But that’s just wishful thinking.
We do know that the next coup attempt against Putin will not be called off, they know Putin won’t keep his word now. (They should have known that from the beginning)
this is a barbaric act with no regard for human life.
It’s Russia, were you surprised?
Now dude gets to go retire somewhere else, everyone will think he’s dead.
really sucks when your government is such shit that they’re shooting each other down… right outside Moscow for crying out loud… what a bunch of chimps…
Rest In Piss, bitch
This is the best summary I could come up with:
Ten people have been killed in a private jet crash north of Moscow - with the Russian Civil Aviation Authority saying Yevgeny Prigozhin was on the passenger list.
Seven passengers and three crew were on board the Embraer aircraft, TASS news agency reported, which was en route from Moscow to St Petersburg.
The rebellion ended when Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stepped in to broker a deal - which saw Prigozhin agreeing to relocate to neighbouring Belarus.
Former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele said this is not the first time he is believed to have been in Africa since his failed armed rebellion in June, and this sort of incident was “inevitable”.
Once a close confidant of Vladimir Putin, Prigozhin often lambasted the likes of defence minister Sergei Shoigu and top general Valery Gerasimov in public addresses over their handling of the Ukraine invasion.
Prigozhin founded Wagner, a private military company whose fighters have deployed in support of Moscow’s allies in countries including Syria, Libya and the Central African Republic, in 2014.
