I’m OK with “old days” folks; they do have their obnoxious quirks, but they’re easier to dialogue with.
My issue is mostly the “WAAAH, TL;DR!”, entitled, “I don’t understand” demographics from the late 10s ~ early 20s. You know, if you say “I like apples” they’re screaming at you saying “WAAAAH WHY DO YOU HATE BANANAS?” or crap like that, it feels like walking on eggs to avoid those fuckers putting words in your mouth, you know?
More than half the people here are IT nerds of some sort, so it is kinda like reddit in the old days

Tbh except for circlejerk subs on reddit I don’t think I’ve encountered that much. But tbf I only followed a couple dozen communities before I left.
