The username ae masakali (O Free Spirited Being) is actually a song from an Bollywood movie with pigeons in it and even some onomatopoeia about pigeon grunts.
Are pigeons native to India? I only think of them hanging around cities on the atlantic side of things.
There’s a whole bunch in Cities at least. I’ve seen several in Bangalore
I don’t know about native but there’s tons of them everywhere. They’re the most common bird.
