Do you know what the max current is?
I tried this in probably not the safest way with my Poco X3 pro. It outputs 2.1A at 5V before the voltage starts dropping and short circuit protection finally kicks in at 2.5A.
I have no idea. It took me some messing around to figure out what my problem was. The Deck’s AC adapter has enough juice for all that at 45W, but the port itself doesn’t seem to output enough. I don’t know about the official dock, but the one I use doesn’t power the other ports directly, it only outputs to the USB-C.
The deck uses PDC?, basically it has a negotiated power draw. The charger is around 2-2.5Am(I can’t remember anything today), 45W and can range from 5-15 volts. I’ve had usb hubs with memory sticks/cards, keyboard, hdmi and external ssd all plugged in with zero issues, although if I use my usb-c extension cable I need to run it from the power cable to the hub and not the hub to the deck as things get very flakey configured with the second option.
USB-C isn’t magic. The length and type of the cable can severely affect its reliability (as Mac users have been painfully aware of since 2016). I don’t trust anything less than a 100W, short (0.5m or less) Thunderbolt 3 cable if I want anything more than USB 2.0 speeds or basic charging.
edit: I’m aware this is a rather extreme superstition, but I’ve been already spent too much time messing with cables
