Ethnic cleansing? Thats a new one. I’ve only seen the stuff for the USA funding. Can I see some things on it? Doesn’t sound out of bounds for a US funded paramilitary group, but my knowledge on this is minimal.
Kurds joined the Turkish genocide of Armenians and the Arab genocide of Assyrians. This however has nothing to do with PKK or Rojava
I remember reading about it on GenZedong around year or two ago, that some Kurd fighters were expelling Assyrian communities in north Iraq. Don’t remember it have anything to do with the ones being funded by USA or were those the others. Tensions between Kurds and Assyrians are overall long running issue, with the most infamous episode being 1933 Simele massacre.
