I’m not the person you responded to, but I prefer my news sources to not fail fact checks, push propaganda, and spread conspiracy theories. Do you know how stupid that is? Literal NPC behavior. You even use the dehumanizing rhetoric that extreme right people are using in order to make it easier to see them as less than human. Did you even take time to read the article and consider what it says before rejecting it? Why would anyone trust them after they’ve failed numerous fact checks? You’re literally trusting an outlet that’s pushing fake news.

The value of a newspaper is only when it is fact checked. If fact check fails, what’s the point of reading it. May the lemmy users know?
