Exluding Keanu, Tom Hanks, and Warren Buffet
I met Brian O’Halloran (Dante from Clerks) once and he was super nice. We bullshitted for ages and he signed a thing for me.
I didn’t see Dolly on this list.
Guillermo del Toro
Stephen Colbert. I met him once, very briefly. He was visiting a thing I was working. He was very kind - went around to everyone, shook our hands, and introduced himself individually.
But that made me think he was a legit good guy. He didn’t have to take the time to do that.
Amanda Tapping and Sidney Poitier were both down to earth and genuinely friendly when I met them.
Diamond Dallas Paige
When I met him he seemed genuinely a nice guy, and he’s helped so many broken wrestlers
I’d never heard of him until I tried his yoga workout and I completely agree. He seems so genuine and serious about lifting others up (ummm…no pun intended…maybe…).
George Takei
It is not possible for Warren Buffet to be a nice guy because he is a dragon hoarding wealth while people die of deprivation and injustice.
He’s donated over 55 billion dollars
Are you sure he really donated it? Did it not go to one of the foundations he and Gates control to push their agendas like school privatization via “charter schools”?
He “donated” over 55 billion dollars to what/whom, and to what ends? I don’t think you understand how modern-day robber-baron largess works.
The problem is how he got that $55 billion to donate.
The $55 billion + is a waste product produced by his lifelong love of mathematics. Seriously. Even Buffett would probably agree that there’s a societal problem where a single human can amass that amount of (unnecessary) wealth. Probably explains why he gives it away. For him the satisfaction is seeing his system win - not necessarily the dividends it collects.
Well to be frank, if he were born nowadays he would likely be seen as autistic because of his love for mathematics. He developed an early interest in the workings of stocks as a kid as his father owned a stock brockerage.
He always dabbled in small business ventures as a kid including buying a farm off his dad that ended up making him a small fortune as a 20 year old. He worked his way up in his dads firm as an investment salesman until he amassed enough to start his own firm. The funny thing is, he doesn’t spend much of his money because it’s mostly not liquid. He has a high net worth because he owns shares that he doesn’t access, and when he does, it’s usually for charity. He pledged to donate 99% of his wealth a long long time ago.
Do you work for Warren Buffet’s PR team or do you do this work for free 😂
Honestly isn’t that how most billionaires seek to portray themselves?
Jack Black?
He looks like a super chill guy
Selena Gomez. She’s also now on the Food Channel.
I love Only Murders in the Building.
Post Malone? (Based off what I’ve seen)
Word. I’m not much of a fan of his music, other than a few songs, but the dude is just so damn nice. Like, he could do the usual fame thing where he hedges and plays aloof, but the guy is always positive and kind to people any time he’s in public. Like, if he’s faking being a decent dude, he’s doing so good at it that it amounts to the same thing.
Even when he’s talking about his struggles, or other darker subjects, he’s talking with compassion for others, trying to give people a hand up with his words. I respect the hell out of that.
I don’t put much stock in “nice,” but I can think of a few good celebrities.
- The late Harry Bellafonte
- Wallace Shawn
- Susan Sarandon
- Jane Fonda
- The late Sinéad O’Connor
- Roger Waters
Really? Roger ‘Russia did nothing wrong’ Waters? I’m not saying he’s scum or anything but I struggle to see him fitting in with the rest here.
I don’t disagree with him on Israel, but Roger Waters has gone full tankie lately and for that reason he sucks
I’m not sure Waters is even a committed socialist. But then I doubt you have a coherent definition for tankie, so who knows what you mean.
I would refrain from that argument with your comment history
He didn’t say “Russia did nothing wrong,“ but that is what NATO stans often hear.
User instance checks out
Thought-terminating cliché checks out.
You used the term “NATO stan” and call my response a cliche? I could tell you were a .ml user without even looking at your account.
The irony is entertaining. Thanks for the laugh, tanky
Louise Fletcher was a kindly grandmother to anyone . The best ways to find nice people in Hollywood is look for the best villains.
Danny Devito.
Ah, The Barnacle
I’m to scared to think any of them are okay anymore. Had my heart broken too many times.
