British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has arrived in Ukraine’s capital on Thursday with a pledge to help guarantee the country’s security for a century, days before Donald Trump is sworn in as U.S. president.

    I’m sure Ukraine is feeling very safe at the moment from empty security assurances. The simple fact is that if they still had their nukes, this war wouldn’t even be happening.

      It’s easy to say now, I mean even Clinton said he regretted it.

      Though let’s not lie to ourselves, back in 90s if Ukraine would say no, Russia (with UN’s blessing would probably enter to “get them back”).

      Frankly if Ukraine would have joined NATO in 2009 as Biden suggested, these wars probably wouldn’t happen, and the memorandum would still be considered as a good idea.
