    Gender tags are not a universal instance-wide rule and it’s up to individual communities to require and enforce them. This is not a community that requires them.

        Saying please and passive aggressively adding a “Thx” is quite the opposite of asking nicely. Maybe don’t chastise brand new posters for following appropriate community guidelines because in this specific community your gender tag is meaningless when only 2 out of 24 posts in a week have even used them.

          You read it as passive aggressive, it wasn’t written in that spirit and you have no right telling me otherwise.

          Tagging exists for the benefit of all users. lt helps us find the content we are interested in, avoid other content or to reach community members that will appreciate it most.

          Just because there isn’t a rule doesn’t mean that we can’t ask other community members to do it. Especially in a generic non-gender specific community like Ass.
