But I thought that Putin was the source of all evil in the world. If he’s dead shouldn’t the war be over, Russia collapsed, Biden reelected, and peace reigning over all the Earth?

He was dead, but he came back 3 days later. Some say he’s a Juche necromancer, but personally I think he’s the second coming of christ.

Actually, everyone in Russia knows that real Putin died of cancer in 2008. Right now there are several doubles, such as “RoundFace”, “SquareFace”, “Manly Putin”. Some people also may say that there are also “Speaker”, “Diplomat”, “Udmurtian”, “Kuchma” and even “Party Putin” that can drink if needed

    It’s common knowledge in Russia

He’s actually died several times, and each time has been replaced with a clone that’s slightly more based. E.g.:

    • 1999-2014 Putin: self-proclaimed liberal and US shill.

    • 2014-2022 Putin: provides support for Assad, keeps Crimea from falling into the hands of Kiev neonazis.

    • 2022-present Putin: Actively fighting Kiev neonazis, depleting NATO stocks, deepening ties with China, BRICS, dedollarization, etc.

Experts believe that the next iteration will be “honest socdem Putin,” followed by “communist Putin” sometime in the 2050s.

Liberals like to think they’re smart enough to not believe conspiracy theories, but then they believe stuff like this.

This might be a really dumb question, but are body doubles even like an actual real thing?

I can see how they were on like medieval times when no one actually knew what anyone they hadn’t met in person looked like, and if some fancy guy surrounded by guards was supposed to be the king he was probably the king.

But in modern times with photos and mass media and Internet I don’t think anyone would fall for it.

Every time i read about it seems to be all allegiations coming from this being really a TV trope - and indeed the place where the doubles are undoubtledly used is the movie scene. Libs of course tend to believe in 50 body doubles of Saddam Hussein and that half of world leaders at any given time are dead and secretly replaced.

Outside of like…stunt doubles? Not that I am particularly aware of, and definitely not in the way these articles try to frame it.

Could a decoy motorcade or something be sent out? Yes, that is possible and probably advisable when the CIA wants you dead. But you don’t have other people pretend to be you and make public appearances and give speeches at your behest.

One of their pieces of evidence is…a missing watch? You know those come off right? Like…I take mine off every evening and don’t even wear it every day.

Watches are an artifact equipment, which are permanents. They don’t leave the battlefield after you summon them like instants and sorceresses. As an equipment, you can attach it to a creature.

It’s like the aristocrat’s necklace in that Washington Irving story. You take off your watch, your hand falls off.

Also, not gonna lie, I really wish Putin would just finally die so that the Communist Party can finally have a chance.
