i switched from safari [sick of the small, persistent weird annoying bugs] to chrome last month partially because of how many extensions it had but even still it’s missing some crucial features i missed from safari
firefox seems to be worse at everything [not as slick and fast as safari even if it’s more solid, less extension support even though it’s so old] but i am already sick of how i’m seeing more ads in chrome and the adblockers don’t work as well. google is literally literally tanking the internet
Firefox + uBlock Origin is a godsend. Shout outs also go to DuckDuckGo and the Privacy Badger add-on
Fwiw, my experience with Firefox has been so good that I’ve started using Pocket and Thunderbird as well (both also developed by Mozilla). There’s a bit of a learning curve, but resources are easily found online, and the privacy and customization benefits easily outweigh the hiccups, imo
