    “In unrelated news, the acting inspector general has been fired by Trump today. Trump has tapped another member of the OPM to lead the department while Trump considers a new Inspector General. The acting lead at OPM expects that the DOGE investigation will be wrapped up quickly as so far he’s seen no evidence of emerging threats or issues.”
