Long time ago I’d use a third party app for that, but I don’t really trust them enough for that now. The closest solution I found was to use the work profile with Shelter, would that be the way to go?

In my case the app is Facebook Messenger & phone is Pixel 6.

I think Samsung devices also had a built in way to do this

    I think Shelter works or you can install Messenger Lite as your second copy

      That’s actually why I’m looking, Messenger Lite just got shut down the other day

      That setup worked great till now

        Oh sad to hear, i guess Shelter is the way to go but the separate storage is kind of a pain to deal with

    Samsung does have a way to do this, secure folder. It’s different in some ways to the work profile but functionally the same

      Yea this works pretty well, but it gets a little annoying trying to send a photo because the storage is separate

      Still possible but just a couple of extra steps every time

          Oh really

          For me if I want to take a photo and then share it, I need to go into my gallery, find the photo, and then go through the share menu options to find the work app

          I haven’t tried the other way though
