Because if we murder people it doesn’t give them a chance to change.
It’s like suicide (which is self murder from my perspective). Permanent solution to a temporary problem.
Plus killing someone would cause the person doing the killing trauma as well as trauma for the murdered person’s family etc, that may lead to revenge and thus more murder. And the cycle can repeat ad infinitum.
Not that I don’t share the sentiment. I absolutely do. And I have obviously thought about it or I wouldn’t have this thought out of a response.
