Non profits don’t appeal to investors. The supply chain is dominated by big pharma. Non profits still have to pay large fees to the FDA Medicaid forces a 23.1% rebate on the lowest priced drugs that make it difficult to keep their prices low. TLDR the Industry is not designed for non profits.
