It’s currently not running. Honestly, it felt pretty boring for me. I liked the characters enough, but holy shit we’re they dragging ass on story progression.

Witch from Mercury’s cancelled? Huh, and I was just starting to care about the big fighting robot genre.

WfM was only one season. They just broke it up calling it season one and two. Instead of being cour one and two like it was initially advertised as. And in my opinion the show really suffered from being only one season long. Hell just two or three more episodes might’ve done wonders. Show just turned into a pile of wasted potential in the end for me.

If you want another Gundam to watch I’d recommend giving Turn-A a shot. It’s only subbed though if dubbing matters.

Completely agree, WFM needed another season or at least another stretch of episodes. So much potential left on the floor. It sucks cause I loved the series and the characters, and I credit it for getting me back into Gundam after many years away.

I’ve been watching Iron Blooded Orphans to fill in the gap and it’s pretty good.

Huh. Have I seen the second season? I remember a huge post-credits cliffhanger. I’m sad it’s not continuing.

Nope you didn’t miss anything if you watched all 24 episodes. It was just split into 12 episodes last fall and the 12 episodes we had in spring this year. Marketing called the spring run “season 2”. Typically a Gundam series is about 50 episodes split 24-25 each season.
