If that was the case you could argue that since Diniz is an interim that doesn’t really have the resumee to fit the size of the job, if CBF told him to not rock the boat on who gets called then he doesn’t really have much to throw against it considering he’s disposable in the position

Historic result for Venezuela drawing away to Brazil in Qualifying. They might actually qualify

    Brazil has a midfield problem

For people saying we should pass on Ancelotti to keep Diniz, this is the only thing I have to say:

    🤨

Now that’s just hating, lmao. Venezuela wasted a shitload of time and he ended the game before he should, but we just shouldn’t have let the game get to this point.

Para ser honesto, estabamos rodando bastante al final de todo, creo que dio el tiempo correcto.

Half of Venezuelas team dropped dead with cramps for the last 5ish minutes, the ref was not being biased that’s for sure.

So, Brazil had the ball after Romo kicked it out for a throw in but Brazil didn’t get the ball back.

Dinizism is fucking our midfield tbh. As much as I’d love for it to work for Brazil they’re just not adapting fast. I think Vini just needs some games under his belt after coming back from injury to be back to 100%.

Funny enough I thought this ref did a LOT better than the ref in the Argentina-Paraguay game

This guy gave yellow cards and stuff. Our ref let Paraguay’s midfielders kick and push our players all over the field (Esp De Paul)

A lot of players in the team aren’t getting picked on their current form, it’s almost the entire core from Tite’s cycle too. Richarlison is in terrible form, Cunha is not that different when it comes to his finishing, Jesus has been playing well but that hasn’t translated to the NT in the past, still might be the best shot at CF of those three atm.

Casemiro is way below his level if you look at how good he was last season even, just a really sudden drop, Marquinhos is in something of a similar spot. Danilo is alright but will likely be too old by the next WC comes up. From the players playing in the Brazilian league it’s also like that, Veiga and Gerson haven’t been playing close to their best.

It’s preposterous how some players have been able to get comfortable in thinking they’ll always get called up when there are probably others more deserving of it atm.
