Microsoft is preparing to bring on Amazon as a customer of its 365 cloud tools in a $1 billion megadeal, according to an internal document::Preparations for this huge cloud software deal mark a significant shift in the relationship between the two technology giants.
Someone at my work managed to break their OneDrive by putting their MSSQL logfile folder in it, there were 1000s of copies/versions of each file and it would not allow deletion or changes. They had to significantly increase the size/allocation to have enough time to perform the required fix and delete the duplicates.
Amazon will have teething issues and will regret spending $1billion, and when MS eventually has outages or degradation of services, Amazon will lose millions.
Makes you wonder if there is a small group of people making a lot of money off this deal.
