California on Tuesday ordered General Motors' Cruise unit to remove its driverless cars from state roads, calling the vehicles a risk to the public and saying the company had "misrepresented" the safety of the technology.

    I didn’t see this coming. Cruise has some really impressive tech.

    Regulators need to be really careful with how they enforce these rules. Knee jerk reaction to accidents isn’t sustainable - these issues need to be found before the cars are on the roads.
