Mostly lurking. United States southerner, gay, working retail. An amazing combination
Keychain on my belt loop, plus mace.
Phone and wallet in back pockets, utility knife and earbuds in side pockets.
Other stuff I need frequently like bug spray, sunblock, power bank, extra sketchbook and selfie stick (not necessarily for selfies, I just like photography) are in a backpack in my passenger seat.
I’m always curious because I stopped carrying a purse as it made me feel more femme than I like, and since then I’ve wondered how dudes get through the day with only their pockets.
'93, younger end of millennial.
Not big on generation labels though, they feel like a failed experiment. People are born every day of every year and our experiences overlap in a gradient. They don’t separate into distinct portions.
The baby boom was an actual phenomenon, but every label afterwards feels arbitrary.
Short of a birth year in their username, I’m not sure there is one. Almost everything in this thread is something millennials inflict on me daily.
Ugh, the second one… I used to lurk on relationship subreddits instead of just watching soap operas like a normal person, and it’s wild how quickly people jump to divorce. And if the OP makes an update where they talked it out, a lot of the commenters get mad.
I don’t know that they’re kids, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
I’ll have to keep an eye out for more! I actually found it on /r/OCDMemes and was pleasantly surprised because the rest of the subreddit was as depressing as you’d expect 🥲
I automatically read that sentence in AoStH Robotnik’s voice. I don’t know if he ever even said that, he’s just the ultimate example of the Card-Carrying Villain in my mind.
I think the absurdity is part of the joke, but you sound like me in that you enjoy your fiction in an incredibly literal way. I remember being into cartoons as a kid and needing grounded explanations for everything even though the characters’ lives essentially reset every 30 minutes.
Loved seeing the process! The colors came out really pretty
I’m so sorry 💔 Your actions sound completely responsible given what you knew. I don’t think anyone here would have predicted the outcome.
Oh that sounds rad! And congratulations!
I’m glad you’re doing better!
Oh yeah also should have fucked that lil fry cook
My mom let all her kids go to school while living at home and paying very little towards bills. I really wanted to, but my older siblings convinced me not to. They couldn’t drive, so they’d have to drop out, and it’s not fair for the younger one to go to school first. But if I wait my turn, they’ll be able to help me.
Yeahhhh, my turn never came. I got disillusioned and moved out. I could never afford to go to school now. I don’t think any of them ever used their degrees anyway.
Every day I wish I’d told them to shove it, and done what I wanted to do.
OK, there are a few things the internet wouldn’t let me forget.
How did I know she was from The Super Mario Super Show before reading the text? I have almost no memory of that show.
Not a retiree but I approve this meme
Hope it’s a good one! 🥳
Hi! Hope you enjoy it :)
