Last one I ordered was left inside a wheelie bin. Which my neighbour helpfully put out the next morning.

Same with David Icke (the UKs version of AJ)
Yeah, what makes it good is the unparalelled feature set, which is also why the pros use it.
I mean that makes absolutely no sense at all. It’s what the professionals use for good reason.
Pro retoucher here. Guess I’m just a silly goose them.
Moved into a newly renovated flat that hadn’t been cleaned. So there was a think layer of brick/plaster dust all over every surface. Then spent months fighting a four figure electricity bill because it turns out the builders had used my particular flat to charge their kit for months.
9 failed attempts before the real doctor relocated it on first try. I only found out because I sneaked a look at my notes. WTF indeed…
Dislocated shoulder. It went over the front of the socket which is apparently quite rare, and the most painful. I was blacking out front the pain, a friend fainted, ambulance gave me laughing gas which was great. Hospital visit was not fun, they tried various kinds of morphine which didn’t seem to have much of an effect, then ended up giving me some sort of date rape ‘cooperative sedation’ meds and letting the student doctors take turns to fail at relocating my arm and fuck up the socket even more.
Renault Vivaro. She’s called Julie. Julie Vandrews. Also know as me Julie.
I almost exclusively play VR FPS these days. I only have time for short <1hr play sessions so my RPG days are on hold until life allows it.
Once had to explain to an old lady (in full-time employment in a job that requires use of a computer) that the mouse moves around on the desk surface. She was trying to move the cursor by putting the mouse on the screen.
I’d heard so many good things about DE but the voice acting felt so jarring it really put me off. Words completely mispronounced (or maybe bad translation) in the intro and no sense of flow whatsoever.
Love me some 50/50 lemon juice and maple syrup. Never thought to try with balsamic/oil, thanks for the tip!
Yeah I turn AI off on my phone and prefer to shoot RAW. It’s still a legit feature tho.
It’s not marketing fluff though, it’s AI processing, as in recognising what you’re taking a photo of and auto-applying shooting presets/filters. Fairly common these days with new phones.

BLARP! I suppose it’s a physics game but I’m not aware of anything else quite like it. It’s incredibly simple, addictive, and could only really exist as a VR game.
Shout out to Superhot and Noita, already mentioned in this thread.
Lossless is the default for print output.
Capture One has a free 30 day trial IIRC. It’s great for doing this kind of thing, if you put caps lock on you can hit keys 1-5 to rate and it will auto advance.
Generative AI has been an absolute game changer in my retouching work. Slightly worrying that it’ll put me out of work sometime in the future, but for now it’s saving me loads of time, handling the boring stuff so I can concentrate on the stuff it can’t do.
