main one for me is installing software from distro repos that aren’t in flatpak and having it persist through updates.

I was puzzled for a while why it wanted to update again right after it seemigly finished but doing again it in the terminal put out an error which for ‘atomic’ distros usually means a fix like this is needed.
I haven’t played hfw yet but zd was essentially the same story as the surge, and I’ve seen the same plot in movies and books in the past too. Post apocalypse where the big bad is long dead and the people are just suffering the lasting consequences of the actions of the dead. Hella plot twist if it hadn’t been done so many times. I’ll still play hfw if it can ever get past the unskippable intro cutscene without crashing and needing to start over every time. Its the only game I have encountered that will crash to power off on steam deck with default confkguration.
what is this, a crossover episode?
whatever the 7a has unlocks better with a blue disposable glove than bare hand
if you have an amd gpu and install bazzite its basically the steamos version valve hasn’t released yet but with a fedora base instead of arch. I wouldn’t actually do the deck image though because game mode is kinda annoying unless controller really is your primary input. I use the desktop image on all my computers that aren’t server use.
no ban risk?
edit: in the article it quotes miyazaki as having said they don’t want to oppose to it, and the mod only allows online play with other modders so presumably safe
I read probably like 5 chapters of the mango when it was new but didn’t keep up with it. Does this series actually have anything that needs censoring? I was under the impression that it was about otherworld people struggling with our shitty addictive unhealthy foods and trying to lose weight.
seems less stressful than all my past jobs
I was not aware of whatever model psvita that is
deliver the words that execs and shareholders want to hear and nothing else.
some of those ubuntu instructions that come up jn search results are from as far back as the mail order ubuntu cd era and installing debs directly is a slippery slope
can’t those can only duplicate standard controller buttons? we need separately mappable extra buttons like L/R 4 and 5 on steam deck. more of them though. games fully supporting steam input can give you named input functions and in game it shows the button you set it to for prompts. it would be great for separating inputs in games where buttons are shared like jump and interact being the same button depending on if an interact prompt is up.
no L5,R5, touchpads though
so shattered horizon died, then someone else made it and it died again?
I have a 50 or 52 on the back of my bike and its a decent amount bigger than any dork disc I’ve ever seen. They seem to only go up to 34 and I have been thinking of 3d printing one that matches my colour scheme.
soulslike mechanics probably feel clunky to people that don’t really play soulslike. That said a bunch of things totally are clunky like cycling through spells and items which hasn’t significantly changed since dark souls, and for people that would rather take their time browsing the items walking while the menu is up is probably pretty jarring. Probably other things. It really has come a long way from demon souls but I honesly kinda prefer the jankiness of the older games.
outer worlds was basically a non bethesda 3d fallout game that wasn’t fallout, seemingly largely inspired by firefly in regards to the cast of characters and some aspects of the plot. you even randomly have your ship’s cargo hold filled with cows like the opening sequence of lne episode of firefly.
outer wilds is on my backlog and I know nothing apart from being told to play it repeatedly.
even if I search ‘zoom platform’ its like the 7th result after zoom the video conferencing software. just the sad state of the internet these days. anyway I found it now and I’ll check it out after work.
yeah I was thinking "oh maybe someone will finally make a vr device that has all the features and none of the bloat, for a competetive price. Then its just yet another phone. every damn half decent or better phone has oled these days, its not worth highlighting any more imo.
