That’s what Peru tried to tell Ecuador.
I feel like that also drove a lot of colonization for humanity. It doesn’t make sense that so many people would want to leave Earth if it became paradise unless it wasn’t as fulfilling and you could be in charge of more if you went off world.
Well, at least the was one election where Nazis didn’t win big.
Still hosted by MTV’s Dan Cortese.
They would have rescheduled for that.
MTV’s Spring Break would be a lot crazier.
It depends on the person.
I think they, for the majority of people, there is a rough number that could be derived from a standard of living they would want and not have to work. It isn’t a common number across people as people want different things.
That said, there are some people for whom there isn’t a number to satisfy them. Wealth becomes a high score to measure against others. For them, there is no good enough.
Even government agencies price a human life around $5M. This is shockingly cheap.
Part of the issue with the value of college isn’t that it educated, but that it acted like an ordeal to overcome and filtered out people who didn’t have the makings of being a leader. Not all of that is due to educational ability.

Hooker Chemical sold for $1 and a list of conditions because the local government was threatening eminent domain after the company gave several warnings.
And I’m not going to defend Hooker in other locations.
The problem with using the Love Canal was that it was the local government that really fucked up.
For the time, Hooker Chemical Company disposed of the chemical waste in a somewhat responsible way; a clay lined canal that they later topped with clay to prevent water infiltration. If the turn wasn’t dead set in developing the land, we likely would have never heard of Love Canal.
China is definitely pumping money into its manufacturing capabilities, but I don’t think cornering the international market is why.
What appears to be happening is that local officials pushed an industrial development policy to make economic numbers go up. Some provinces got to the point of building factories and leasing them out to companies for that sweet economic growth.
The Chinese national government is trying to find a market for this since it can’t afford for all Chinese local investment to be bad. Developing countries don’t have the funds for the cheap solar output and the other industrialized nations are putting up trade barriers since they are running massive trade deficits with China already.
He’s expecting the far right to do a shit job at governing while he is still President and hopes this kills their popularity.
