You have to keep in mind that the US started on the east coast and then expanded west. A lot of the terminology we use goes back to those days, where everything west of the original colonies was “The West”.
He/Him. Trying a few different instances/apps out, so if you see this handle on another server, it’s probably me. Or someone else also decided to steal it from Campaign: Skyjacks.

Must be doing something right.
Nice. Mine is an opera director.
I share a name with someone who is obscure enough to not come up in many conversations, but famous enough that he monopolizes the Google results for my name.
I quite enjoy the relative anonymity.
For Lemmy on Android, I’m using Eternity, which is a fork of the Reddit client Infinity.

Yeah, I have to confess that I don’t fully understand the difference between bi and pan. I’ve had some people tell me that pan is simply a more inclusive way of saying the same thing, and others tell me that there are distinct differences in how the two approach their sexuality, so the whole thing just leaves me a bit confused.

Bookshop.org is an attempt to provide an alternative to Amazon as a bookseller by using a network of independent book stores. It’s not decentralized technologically or anything like that; it’s just a website that bookshops can affiliate with. But it does represent a model to build an alternative that other industries can learn from.

One thing I’ve noticed is that it throws an error when trying to load the sidebar for a Kbin magazine. I’m not sure if you have full Kbin support on your road map, but that particular issue might be worth looking at for inter-operability’s sake even before implementing Kbin completely.
